Kaylee's first year of soccer

Kaylee started playing soccer this year. She was very excited, and has done pretty well. It is so funny watching 5 & 6 year old girls play soccer. I was concerned that Kaylee would be timid and not get out and play hard. Sometimes she does have a tendency to kind of hang out behind the "pack" and run behind them, but every once in a while she does get the ball and get a good kick or two in. She has scored one goal this year so far. She needs some practice kicking the ball, because she sometimes doesn't pay enough attention and ends up missing the ball completely. I try to practice with her at home when I can. It'll come. Here are some action shots of her at her first game:
