The Peacegiver

My coworker, Steve Wise, lent me a book a few weeks ago. It is called The Peacegiver, by James L. Ferrell. Last week, while I was on the early shift at work on Memorial day, I decided to read it. Stacey didn't think that I would read it, so I made a little bet with her that I could read the entire book by the time I got home from work. It's about 200 pages, and I haven't read a book (not counting the scriptures) in probably 3 or 4 years. I started it early in the morning, at about 5 AM, and I finished it at about 10:00 AM.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone, despite their circumstances. It is a great book about forgiveness and the atonement. I am not going to tell too much of the plot, but the man in this book is experiencing some problems, and has some experiences that allows him to turn inward and evaluate his life.

This book has changed my outlook on the atonement. I have a better appreciation of Christ, His atonement, and the gifts that He has given us all.
